China Electricity Council has released a list of creditworthy electric power enterprises for 2017, covering over 150 power generation enterprises, power construction companies, electric power design institutes and grid companies. Suzhou Industrial Park Blue Sky Gas Cogeneration Power Co., Ltd. of GCL Intelligent Energy section won the top AAA rating. It was the first time for the company to take part in the rating.

In August 8, 2017, an expert group of China Electricity Council made a special trip to Suzhou Industrial Park Blue Sky Gas Cogeneration Power for guidance and instructions, evaluated the operations of the company from the perspectives of business management, financial management, HR management as well as safety and quality management, etc., made a comprehensive assessment on the company’s compliance with relevant laws, regulations and policies, as well as the capability of performing relevant contracts, and gave a high rating on the site. The expert group said that the credit evaluation of power enterprises is an important measure for implementing the Several Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Further Deepening the Electric Power System Reform (No.9 File of China’s National Energy Administration). Policies for enterprises with “AAA” credit rating have been developed in some provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, similarly, it is recommended that Suzhou Industrial Park Blue Sky Gas Cogeneration Power strives for policy supports in the future and seizes the opportunities in new business development including electricity selling.
Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the Chinese government has deepened the reform of all undertakings, streamlined administration, delegated more powers, and established a social management mechanism with integrity and credibility building at its core, and the electricity industry has been included in the first batch of pilot industries of credibility assessment. As the reform of the electric power system keeps deepening, the 19th National Congress of the CPC has put forward higher requirements on promoting credibility building as well as heightening people’s sense of social responsibility and awareness of rules, and the industrial credibility assessment is highly respected by all parties. Enterprise credit information is widely used in the industry to which such enterprise belongs to and the upstream and downstream industries, and shared by relevant government departments and financial institutions. Each assessment result has a valid period of three years and is reviewed every year, and those disqualified enterprises will be downgraded.
